Registration Submission Process

1. Submit an Application

Complete the online registration form.

Please note: Due to the large number of applicants, submitting an application does not guarantee your team a spot in the tournament. All applications must first be reviewed by the Tournament Committee.

Application Review and Selection Process

2. Application Review

The Tournament Committee will review all applications and select the participating teams to maintain the quality and competitiveness of the tournament.

3. Team Selection

The Tournament Representative will email the Team Contact for each selected team to confirm that the team has been accepted.

Selected teams will have 24 hours to accept the invitation and must submit the entry fee within the payment window provided.

4. Notification of Unsuccessful Applicants

Teams that are not selected will be notified by email after all tournament spots have been accepted and paid.

Entry Fee Payment Process

5. Payment by E-transfer

The entry fee must be paid by e-transfer. The Tournament Representative will provide selected teams with:

  • The e-transfer email address; and
  • The entry fee payment deadline.

Failure to submit the entry fee by the specified deadline will result in the forfeiture of the team’s tournament spot.

Additional Tournament Requirements

Selected teams must submit the following before the tournament:

  • An official minor hockey team roster in PDF format;
  • Confirmation that the team has reviewed and acknowledged the Joust In The South Tournament Rules; and

All affiliate players must be listed and clearly identified as affiliates. The Tournament Administrator must be notified at least one week before the tournament. If the required notification is not provided, the affiliate player will not be permitted to participate.
